Wash every 10-15 wears (roughly every 2-3 months for regular use). Detangle with a wide-tooth comb first. Fill a basin with cool water (never hot — hot water permanently warps synthetic fiber), add a teaspoon of gentle baby shampoo or fiber conditioner, swirl the wig gently, and rinse clean with cool water. Pat dry with a towel — never wring, brush wet, or use heat to dry — then air-dry on a wig stand and detangle from the ends upward once fully dry.

Mix fabric softener with water (about 1:20) and spray lightly on the wig. Brush from the ends upward toward the cap using a wig brush or a brush with rubber-tipped bristles — working bottom-up stops small tangles merging into larger ones. Wash after detangling if needed, and store the wig in its net and box in a cool place (braid wavy or curly wigs before storing).

We don't recommend it. Synthetic fiber will not absorb traditional hair dye, and bleach causes irreparable damage that shortens the wig's life. If you want a different shade, the better route is choosing another color from our 400+ styles — there's almost always a close match. Darkening with alcohol ink is possible but permanent and at your own risk.
